My core concept was to explore gender and sexuality through my own photography and creative exploration. My concept was to divide gender by subject into three sections: biological, social and sexual constructions.

IMAGES
My goal started out to complete several still images that stood up as bodies of work, regardless of my theme. These images were shown at the Vagina Monologues, Chapel Spirituality show, and the Farm House Art show.

MOVIE
I then began transforming my gender images into abstracted line drawings. My inspiration behind this was to first utilize a large majority of my images and second, the work of Andy Warhol. So, after some thoughtful manipulation, I decided to simplify and abstract the images by altering the color and highlighting the contour to make the gender more ambiguous. I decided to combine these drawings with contrasting words that I find gender relevant, and create a movie with Final Cut Pro, combining this ideas.
